    About Stockholm Science Geeks

    ***Season 22 update***

Stockholm Science Geeks started in MSWL in season 2 and have always been associated with using genuine scientists names. The theme persists to even having apprentices named after famous scientists. This will not be continued from season 21 onwards.

From season 21 onwards the players will be named after one of the 118 chemical elements from the periodic table. Players with names like Hydrogen, Uranium, Iron, etc. will be listed as players for SSG.

    Geeks trophy case

It seems the Geeks have not been too successful during their history as franchise in MSWL. They have managed one Alan Parr Cup win and a D2 win so far, but those throphies were won ages ago.

    Geeks season wrap up

Season 21 was at the end a solid one for us and went as planned. The AP Cup went as planned. We avoided the Wooden Spoon during regular season, with as final league position #9. The MSWL Cup was good during group stages, but when the prices were about to be collected we lacked quality. First time during my MSWL carreer though to qualify for the Sweet 16!

Geeks new and retired players during season 21

These players were added to the squad last season:

    1. 0/02 SD Uranium
    2. 6/12 GK N.Yorway
    3. 4/20 FW Gold
    4. 2/16 MF Silver
    5. 1/13 SW Helium
    6. 3/17 GK Lithium

These players were retired last season:

    1. 7/4 GK Henry Cavendish
    2. 7/3 FW Dario Silva

    Geeks looking towards Season 22

The franchise is again not ready for any big upset this season. With a very low T11/T17 rating and not much cash to spend it will again be a difficult season.
During regular season we will do our outmost to perform better than last season. We think it can be possible to reach position 7 or 8.
During the MSWL cup we would like to get some good results in and with a bit of luck advance again as one of the 4 best numbers 3 in the group. If this could be achieved, this gives us a lot more hopes for season 23.

    Coach's Bio: Marc de Kok

    ***Season 22 Update***

Hello fellow managers, I am Marc de Kok, 36 years old and living with my girlfriend and two children (age 7 and 5) in the beautiful city of Delft in The Netherlands. Delft is located between The Hague and Rotterdam. November 16th I will get married after living together for about 16 years.
This is my fourth season in MSWL. I am also manager in SESL, where I run PT. In SESL I am in my 11th season in a row.

In real life I am storemanager of a supermarket called Jumbo in the city of Barendrecht. Barendrecht is located just below Rotterdam. It is a demanding job and playing MSWL helps getting the daily stress out of my system.

I am a huge fan of the soccer team Feyenoord Rotterdam. The last few seasons were not good, but you are a fan in good and bad days.
